A Day in the Saddle Ep2.
Location: Castlemaine, Moonlight Flat (aka the Pinies)
This area has an awesome network of single track. Unfortunately it's an end of an era as the inevitable logging is now taking place. (Please don't riding into marked logging area and piss them off, or get yourself diced up) The majority of the trails are still intact although not many locals ride the area anymore so be prepared to do some cobweb clearing. The trails themselves are banging. Tight technical switchback climbs, loose slippery decents (thanks to the millions of pine needles covering the ground), and flowy bits inbetween. My footage is a mixture of different sections at the beginning & end of the full loop. I didn't have the energy or time to lug my gear up & over some climbs, plus i didn't want to give it all away. Enjoy
Note: If you want to head out there visit Cycle Concepts on Hargraves St in Castlemaine. They have a way more accurate map than the one printed in AMB magazine a few years ago. (the AMB mag map will probably make you get lost)

Much the hype around Mt Buller and Mt Sitrling has been about "Stonefly" I reckon I had more fun on Cornhill once I made it back and this video shows it to the max.

Cycle Concepts had three riders racing at the Maldon track. Andre Farley ( 3 rd in Masters ) Rory Farley ( 12 th in Under 15s.. Rory is 12 year old ) and Tom Svenson ( 8th in Under 19 men ... a super competetive class ) Well Done Guys !
